Centralized Portal Offers Easy Access, Online Sign-Up for Multiple City Communication Resources
Dunwoody, GA – May 29, 2013 – Tomorrow, May 30 the City of Dunwoody will launch the Dunwoody Alert Network providing residents with expanded options to receive critical emergency information and communications outreach from the City while consolidating existing outreach efforts into a centralized portal at www.DunwoodyAlertNetwork.com.
The new Dunwoody Alert Network lets community members select what kind of information they would like to receive from the City and the method by which they would like to receive that information. Residents and businesses can request severe weather warnings, emergency information, news alerts, event notifications, or crime reports specific to their area. Users may subscribe to one or multiple notification programs and will be given the option of selecting if they would like to receive the alerts by email, text, or phone.
