Dunwoody UMC To Break Ground on 2 Atlanta Habitat for Humanity Homes

WHAT:          Habitat for Humanity Build          

Volunteers from Dunwoody United Methodist Church will join forces with volunteers from 22 other United Methodist churches to break ground on two Atlanta Habitat for Humanity Homes on Saturday. These will be Dunwoody UMC’s 21st and 22nd Atlanta Habitat for Humanity builds. Construction will continue for consecutive Saturdays, ending with dedications of the houses on May 18. 

Funds raised during the 2012 Dunwoody UMC Holiday Festival will help pay for the construction.

WHEN:  Saturday, April 6

           8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This year Dunwoody UMC will be joined by members of other Methodist churches in the Atlanta Roswell District: Bethelview UMC, Birmingham UMC, Chamblee First UMC, Christ UMC, Hickory Flat UMC, Johns Creek UMC, Midway UMC, Mt. Carmel UMC, Mt. Gilead UMC, Mt. Pisgah UMC, North Forsyth UMC, North Springs UMC, Northbrook UMC, Orange UMC, Roswell UMC, Sandy Springs UMC, Sardis UMC, Shiloh Canton UMC, Shiloh Cumming UMC, Simpsonwood UMC, St. James UMC and Winters Chapel UMC.
