Submitted by Gloria Davis: On early Friday morning (3/15) a rash of burglaries in Dunwoody and the Dunwoody portion of Sandy Springs was hit by thefts to cars and I was one of the victims. This happened in the Happy Hollow and Spalding Drive area. In my case my husband’s car was open in the driveway and they used the garage door opener to get into the garage and stole my laptop/iPad and other items out of the cars.
I would remind your readers that if they leave a car in the driveway to hide the garage door opener from view, along with any items that may entice a thief to steal. Also to make sure that their garage doors are closed at night.
