The Nature Center is now registering all ages of children from 18 months old through 5th grade with distinct classes for toddlers, pre-K, elementary, and home school families. Each week, we will feature a customized theme with age appropriate learning activities and adventures developed to re-connect children with the natural world around them. At the Dunwoody Nature Center, we utilize 22 acres and four distinct habitats to allow children to explore nature in a structured environment. By combining play and learning, our classes offer children the ability to develop at their own pace where growth and knowledge comes from play in a guided environment that fosters a unique sense of accomplishment and self-awareness – and a better understand how we are a part of the larger world.
