On Saturday, Dec.1, from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Brook Run dog park parking lot, there will be a “Tree Party” and all of Dunwoody is invited. Free hot chocolate and cookies will be served and there will be a tree festooning for all to participate in.
337 trees are slated to be cut down to make a 12 foot wide concrete trail that will go through Brook Run Park. Those who don’t want to see this happen are throwing a ‘tree party’ to show their unhappiness with the City’s decision to cut down trees instead of putting the trail on already paved areas in Brook Run Park. Please come. The trees need YOU.
