Stage II, Kingswood United Methodist Church’s theater program, presents
“A Little Knight Music III,” a unique opportunity to enjoy the Christmas season as the first Queen Elizabeth might have—a royal banquet hall, sumptuous Renaissance feast, and beautiful music of the season. First presented 4 years ago, this holiday event returns by popular demand, with new music, script and entertainment to make a return visit worth your time.
Enjoy a traditional Wassail Bowl ceremony, complete with royal toasts to the season. Menu includes traditional Renaissance fare and is served Renaissance style—without utensils. The delicious banquet features Tomato Basil Soup, Chicken Sate with Roasted Potatoes and Vegetables, Cheese Bread, and a Flaming Christmas Pudding.
Musical Director Lewallen, says, “People look to tradition at Christmas more than any other time of year. ‘A Little Knight Music III’ is a wonderful way to get a taste of Christmas from days long gone by. There’s a certain glow and peace people look for at Christmas; a respite from struggling economies, political campaigns, natural disasters and the like. We want Christmas to bring us rich colors, warm candlelight, music which comforts and hearkens back to childhood and peaceful times, and most of all, hope—all to be found in ‘A Little Knight Music III”
“A Little Knight Music III” performs December 7 and 8, 7:30pm, at Kingswood United Methodist Church, 5015 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody, 30338. Tickets are $25 (including dinner), and may be obtained by calling 770.457.1317 or visiting kingswoodumc.org
Don’t miss this opportunity to welcome the season of peace, joy and hope Renaissance-style!
