I am seeking something for one of the surgeons I work for at the hospital. His mother has been in assisted living the past six weeks dealing with depression. She appears to be doing better and no longer needs the services of assisted living and he is moving her into the ranch house next to his home so she can live “independently.” He is looking for someone who can be a companion to her during the days – driving her to errands, keeping her company and helping her out around the house. She is capable of ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living – bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.) but he does not want her to be alone during the day while he is at work. Was wondering if someone “connected” to AHA might be interested or know someone interested in such a job? You can give them my email and I will be happy to send it on to Dr Macheers for them. He lives not far from St Joe’s so it would be a close commute from the Dunwoody area. Thanks so much for the help!
