Update: It is with much sadness that I post the press release from the police.
Original Post: I was at the Wells Fargo in front of Dunwoody Prep this morning at 9:15 and saw about 8 police cars (both Dunwoody and Sandy Springs), several ambulances, and fire trucks. There were SEVERAL onlookers including half the bank and post office. The police have crime scene tape marking off the parking lot between the Post Office and Dunwoody Prep. I had no idea what was going on until I just received this note from a friend who works at Fox News. It was sent to all Atlanta area media outlets from Mike Carlson of the Dunwoody Police:

We are currently working a shooting in the parking lot of 5493 Chamblee Dunwoody Road. The victim WM, was transported to AMC. Condition unknown. Suspect is a WM with a beard, in his 30’s, 510-511, driving silver Dodge Minivan with no tag. Last seen traveling West on Mt. Vernon.
No children or staff were involved or witnessed the event.
