Meeting & Member Services Specialist – Full Time, Fully Remote Position

We are looking for a talented Meeting & Member Services Specialist to join our team. This multifaceted role will direct and oversee membership activities, develop programs and initiatives designed to increase association membership, create and maintain a strong online presence for our clients via social media, work with company webmaster to maintain and update client websites as needed, design and distribute association newsletters, and collaborate with his/her team leaders on client conference/meeting planning.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Membership Dues & Procurement
o Recommend and develop new member programs and services designed to recruit and retain members.
o Membership Database Management and Dues Collection for team client groups.
o Newsletter Liaison/Editor for multiple clients.

• Social Media & Website Management
o Identify, curate and create engaging social media content that drives growth across AME clients.
o Maintain and update the company website with relevant and up to date information.
o Be on the pulse of the latest digital waves, while understanding new trends.

• Meeting Planning & Onsite Assistance
o Coordinate and assist in planning and organizing annual meetings for AME clients.
o Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase attendance at annual meetings.
o Assist in managing all aspects of event logistics at client meetings.

• Administrative Support
o Provide day-to-day support to the executive team members.
o Assist in securing event venues and future meeting locations.
o Experience and expertise in Excel and other Microsoft programs

Requirements:
 Demonstrate knowledge and execution of strategic membership plans.
 Experience w/ social media & email marketing platforms with ability to deliver creative content.
 Strong organizational skills w/ ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
 Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, particularly during peak event periods.
 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and with all personality types.
 Excellent oral and written communication skills
 Creative mindset with experience in Canva or similar software.
 BS degree in Marketing, Media or relevant field. Will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
 Experience in meeting/event planning is a plus.
