Update: The French have decided to cancel this program and are not coming this year. So sorry for the inconvenience.
I am reaching out to you today regarding an urgent situation with our French student exchange program.
The French will be here from October 26 to November 8. The group consists of 20 students – 10 boys and 10 girls – all born in 2010. These students were carefully selected from a pool of 50 applicants, representing the best and most motivated young ambassadors from France. They are from Saint-André-de-Cubzac in Bordeaux (France).
At present, only ten families have signed up to host our visitors. Unfortunately, this means that 10 students (4 females and 6 male students) and 1 female teacher still do not have accommodation for their stay.
Given these circumstances, I am appealing to your generosity and openness once again. Would you be willing to host a French student in your home?
Your assistance would be invaluable to the success of this exchange program.
If you are able to help or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me: Madame Ouanzin, jennifer_f_ouanzin@dekalbschoolsga.org
You will make a significant difference.
Thank you sincerely for your attention and potential support.
Best regards,
Merci Beaucoup
