My family of four stopped by Super Chix this weekend to grab some food to go. I ordered the Southwest Salad which had really tasty fried tenders on the top with slices of avocado and a yummy ranch. It wasn’t a lot of food but it was enough to fill me up. My husband and teenage daughter ordered the tenders which were perfectly cooked and tasted great. We were all surprised that we had to order fries and drinks separately. There were no combination options which is fine except that really changes your price point. The best value was my sons kids meal which came with the same huge tenders the adults had ordered but also a drink, tons of fries and a dessert all for $7.49. He opted for the marshmallow treat rather than the custard but we have heard the custard is worth a return trip. All in all … friendly staff, pleasant ambiance (plenty of seating, clean, etc.), tasty chicken but for over $60 for a family of four to get take out fast food … I’m not sure it will be a regular on our rotation though I do want to get back to try the custard!
