GiGi – Available for Adoption – Audra fostered her for a weekend and LOVES her!

Note from Audra:  I fostered GiGi Friday thru Tuesday and ADORE her…and so does my hubby.  Kirk and I were thinking about keeping her but think she needs a family with a little more energy and one that doesn’t travel as much as Kirk and I do and have one kiddo with allergies to shedding dogs. She’s the sweetest and most cuddly girl, is potty trained (no accidents at all while at our house), is pretty good on the leash…just gets so excited when she sees other dogs or humans.  She loves to play fetch…she would drop a tennis ball at my feet all weekend long to get me to go play!  She loved walking around my fenced in back yard with me while I was gardening.  She’s a gymnast, is very athletic, and has webbed paws.  Her body looks like a Labrador so we think she must be part Labrador or some other type of water loving dog!  Plus…she’s beautiful.  Her coloring is amazing.  I took all of the photos below and promise that if anyone adopts her, Kirk and I will dog sit for free and so will my friend Carolyn who is really the foster parent.  (I was just keeping her while Carolyn was out of town.)

Note from Carolyn (GiGi’s actual foster parent):\
Are you looking to adopt a two year old cutie who also happens to look like the dog emoji? Please meet my foster Glitz (answers to “Gigi”) from Dekalb Co. Animal Services.

Gigi is a happy-go-lucky pup that wants to be your best friend! She enjoys walks, car rides, toys/tennis balls, naps and is excited to greet + play with fur and human friends. Her fave shows are The Good Doctor and The Voice. Gigi knows how to sit and is fairly good on a leash. I think she’d love a home with a yard to play in! Note: she hasn’t been cat tested yet.   She’s approximately 45 lbs of joy and  doesn’t need to be crated as she’s not a destructive girl.

If you’d like to meet her or have any questions, please shoot me a text – Carolyn Sloss @ 404.664.7664.

Other notes:

  • HW – negative
  • Up to date on shots
  • She was picked up as a stray on Feb. 9 and turned into Dekalb Animal Services.
  • To officially adopt her – you’d complete the process with the shelter. Her adoption fee is $85, and I’ll happily split this cost with her new owner.
