Presentation on the Vaping Epidemic at Dunwoody High School

As you may know, smoking, tobacco, and vaping have become an epidemic at high schools across the country, and Dunwoody High School is no exception. It has become a serious issue locally in our community and at our school.

Mr. Haney is an expert in this field and will speak candidly about the dangers, facts, and statistics of vaping. For example, vaping one cube of nicotine is equivalent to smoking 2-1/2 packs of cigarettes. And now more prevalent than nicotine among high school students vaping THC (a narcotic) which can destroy the organs of our youth and cause irreversible damage.

Please take a moment out of your busy day to join us as Kenny Haney educates all of us on the effects of Smoking, Tobacco, and Vaping, and teaches us how we can be part of the solution to this growing problem among our youth.

***Wednesday, November 9, 6pm in the DHS Auditorium***

Mr. Haney will also be presenting to Freshmen and Sophomores in a school assembly on Wednesday, November 9 and likewise to Juniors and Seniors on Thursday, November 10.
