Scott Michael Nations, age 22, of Cumming, GA passed away at his home on August 17, 2022.
Scottie was born in Valencia, CA on May 15, 2000 and moved to Dunwoody, GA at 6 weeks old. He grew up in Dunwoody, attending Austin Elementary, Cornerstone Christian Academy and Dunwoody High School. Later he moved to Boone, NC where he honed in on his culinary skills and was an amazing chef. He had recently moved back home to be closer to his family. Scottie was always the life of the party and lit up every room with his infectious smile and laugh. He was a beautiful soul that was loved by all that knew him. He will be deeply missed by all of his loved ones and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Alicia Nations of Cumming, GA; his sister, Skyler Nations of Cumming, GA; his grandparents, Don and Linda Danysh of Dunwoody, GA; his aunt and uncle, Hilary and Brendan Witcher of Boston, MA; his great aunt, Gale Variot of Atlanta, GA; his great aunt and uncle, Wanda and Don Variot of Wilmington, NC; his great aunt, Donna Carrabba of Houston, TX; and many cousins.
A memorial service will be on August 27, 2022 at 3pm at Dunwoody United Methodist Church, 1548 Mount Vernon Rd., Dunwoody, GA 30338.
