The free summer series at Dunwoody’s Pernoshal Park will feature family-friendly movies about extraterrestrials and superheroes.
Dunwoody, GA – May 25, 2022 – Dunwoody Parks & Recreation will kick off Pics in the Park on Friday, June 3, with a free showing of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial at Pernoshal Park, located at 4575 N. Shallowford Road. The outdoor movie will start at 9:15 p.m. after the sun goes down.
“We’re really excited about the lineup of movies this summer,” said Dunwoody Parks and Recreation Director Brent Walker. “Outdoor movie events bring families together and build community. Pics in the Park is one of my favorite summer programs.”
Pics in the Park will continue on July 1 with Black Panther. The final movie in the series is Lilo & Stitch on August 5. All three events will feature free popcorn and giveaways. The popcorn cart will open at 8:30 p.m. and will be available until halfway through the movie.
Pics in the Park is sponsored by Top Job Beverages, which will be on-site with concessions for purchase. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic dinners to enjoy a fun evening of free family entertainment.
