Join us for a four week Tai Chi series designed to help you refresh, relax, and reconnect with your body and nature. Tai Chi is a series of gentle physical exercises and stretches. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai Chi is sometimes described as meditation in motion because it promotes serenity through gentle movements — connecting the mind and body. Taught with relatively slow movements, Tai Chi provides a safe, gradual way of improving flexibility and range of motion that can soothe ailments such as arthritis and anxiety.
Led by a knowledgeable and experienced Kaiser Permanente instructor, this four week series will be an introduction to the art of Tai Chi.
This series is FREE and fun for adults of all ages and abilities. Registration is required as space is extremely limited. All classes will take place outdoors. Masks encouraged.
This series will take place on October 1, 15, 22, and 29 from 10-11am.
