Cabo San Lucas is located on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula on the western side of Mexico. Cabo is known for its stunning scenery and perfect for those seeking adventure. The massive resorts in places like Cancun and Riviera Maya become the destination, whereas Cabo beckons the traveler to venture outside the resort with many different experiences. Below are several other reasons why Cabo is a great travel choice!
- Cabo’s Covid infection rates are low compared to most areas in the U.S. There are less than .1% of active cases in Cabo.
- Cabo does NOT require a Covid test to enter, BUT like everywhere else internationally, you still must get a negative Covid test to re-enter the U.S.
- On-site testing (for the U.S. return requirement) is offered at most hotels and resorts. The testing is typically free with results emailed to you in 15 minutes!
- Cabo is only a 2–4-hour flight from most major cities.
- The weather is ideal…. almost sunny year-round!
- The interesting landscape! While Cabo does have beautiful beaches, it is more known for its unique rock formations, as well as the desert and mountainous landscapes.
- Where else can you do a camel ride, make tortillas, and enjoy a tequila tasting (along with a delicious lunch) all in one 4-hour excursion!! 🙂
