City Council affirmed two Murphey Candler Park projects at their November 10, 2020 meeting, specifically the south trail and north boardwalk. After reviewing detailed design and discussing project plans with the Park Bond Oversight Committee necessary adjustments were made to the conceptual master plan. More info here.
Site work is beginning on the new Murphey Candler Park playground. The new playground, located on Candler Lake E, is scheduled to be completed in early 2021. The playground is the first of many Park Bond projects in MCP to get started.
A Park Bond Oversight Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 3, 6-7 p.m.
