DCSD has published its October 2020 enrollment numbers. Attached is a summary of the Dunwoody cluster of schools.
Some highlights:
*Enrollment Dunwoody cluster elementary schools has seen a 14% drop in enrollment this year. Enrollment is 614 students lower in 2020 (3,652) than it was in 2019 (4,266).
*Middle school in the Dunwoody cluster has seen a 5% drop in enrollment this year. Enrollment is 83 students lower in 2020 (1,456) than it was in 2019 (1,539).
*High school in the Dunwoody cluster has seen a 4% drop in enrollment this year. Enrollment is 91 students lower in 2020 (2,143) than it was in 2019 (2,234).
*The overall Dunwoody cluster of schools has seen a 10% drop in enrollment this year. Enrollment is 788 students lower in 2020 (7,251) than it was in 2019 (8,039).
*The Dunwoody Cluster of schools is over capacity by 736 students (1,937 in 2019).
*DCSD is under capacity by 17,012 students (11,775 in 2019)
