Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our neighborhood fundraiser to feed the frontline health workers! We just wanted to provide an update on what we were able to accomplish.
On Wednesday, May 6, the COVID ICU staff at Emory St. Joseph’s hospital was treated to Press Blend Squeeze wrap sandwiches, chips, and juices. Today, May 7, Matt from Press Blend Squeeze delivered to Emory Decatur Hospital At both locations, we were able to provide food for all of the doctors, nurses, techs, and other staff for those shifts. That’s somewhere between 70 and 80 people fed so far and another 30-40 more at Northside Hospital ER next week! It’s just awesome!
The response from both hospitals has been amazing! They are very appreciative of the kindness and generosity of everyone who helped make this happen.
