Nonprofit Hosts Virtual Prom for Teens Supporting Their Communities

Saturday, May 9th at 8pm EST Off Their Plate (OTP), a grassroots movement providing economic relief to restaurant employees and nutritious meals to frontline healthcare workers, is hosting a virtual prom for highschool students. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to support OTP’s efforts (#PromtoPlate).

Inspired by a group of high-schoolers in Boston who donated their prom money to support Off Their Plate, this prom celebrates them, and all the high schoolers who are helping support their communities during this time.

OTP has partnered with Maybelline & L’Oreal to provide a week of pre-prom “getting ready” tutorials on social media to prepare for the big event, which has been streaming via YouTube Live. The event itself will be hosted by Emmy-nominated Access Hollywood Co-Host Sibley Scoles with feature performances from renowned artists like Aurora, Smallpools, EVAN GIIA as well as some surprise guest appearances!
