NAMI Northside Family-to-Family Course
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will be conducting in Winter, 2012 a free 12 week Family to Family education course for families of individuals with a serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The course, which begins on January 10th, is structured to help families understand and support their family member while maintaining their own well being. It will be taught by trained family members who have lived with this experience.
