Sonia Ventura, a loved 7th grade Language Arts Teacher at Peachtree Charter Middle School has been battling breast cancer since the start of the school year.
As many people find out while fighting a long term illness they are unable to work and find that they have unbelievable medical costs that are not covered by insurance. Ms. Ventura has been extremely positive throughout this entire ordeal but with her disability pay being only half of her teacher salary and the bills keep coming in she has been convinced by friends that she needed to agree to a Go Fund Me page.
