Our DHS fencing team is basking in the glow of a Wildcat Pride record as 11 fencers finished in the top 16 at Saturday’s home tournament; the most from one school. The womens team rose to 3rd overall in the Georgia High School Fencing League points standings while Megan Murphy earned the individual bronze medal.
Our top 16 finishers: Megan Murphy, women’s captain; Hannah Soderberg, assistant captain; Logan Norris, Jonathan Kopel, assistant captain; Sydney Hilgert, Blake Donovan, men’s captain; Samantha Kasowski, Ella Rogers, Sara Gelber, team captain; Taylor Taliaferro, assistant captain; and Pratik Patel.
