There will be a recycle day for unwanted cleaning supplies, pesticides, paints, solvents, home wastes (i.e. aerosols) and hobby materials for free disposal on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010. Location; DeKalb County Transfer Station, 3720 Leroy Scott Drive, Decatur, GA 30030.

Please get this word out. If you know of anyone who will take my opened household cleaners, mildewcide, etc. please let me know ASAP. I’ll be out of town on the date and I would hate to miss this opportunity.
The location is off Memorial Drive. It’s on the same County property as the jail and it’s tricky to find. Call them for good directions.
