I don’t play tennis. I blame it on being uncoordinated and left-handed. After today, I’ll also blame it on the heat. I have so much respect for my tennis playing friends now because I was hot just taking photos and ran for the shade in between games or sets or whatever you call them.
Seriously, I also have respect for my friends who organized the 2nd Annual Wildcat Tennis Round Robin. Laura Hogan, Katie Frame, Susan Tallent, Mary Margaret Warshaw…and a host of others, collected raffle prizes, found tennis players, organized a fun tournament, and so many more things behind the scenes that we will never know about!
I spent the morning filling up coolers, keeping the players hydrated and learning how to switch from baseball photography to tennis photography. Tennis is easier and the players are prettier!
