Quarterly Update: Perimeter Dunwoody Market Prepares for New Neighbors

City of Dunwoody releases information on forthcoming businesses, developments and more

 The Perimeter Dunwoody Market – at the intersection of Atlanta’s 400 and 285 – is on the leading edge of the city’s development from urban and suburban amenities to crucial connectivity in terms of transportation, land mass and more. With more than 10 million square feet of office space – 8.5 million available for use and 1.5 million under construction – teeing up countless business opportunities alongside updated trailways, the City continues its ongoing investment to evolving the community for both locals and travelers alike and positioning itself as truly a destination fit for live, work and play.

 

The progression of the area has resulted in several new businesses, restaurants and mixed-use developments are announced as “coming soon” to the area. Heading into the second half of 2019, the Perimeter Dunwoody Market anticipates further progress with a focus on new concepts announced over in the first and second quarters of this year. These include:

 

  • Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery: Announced in April to open in the former Wright’s Gourmet Sandwich Shoppe, look for an opening this fall
  • Duke of Wellington Pub: Slated to open this fall from Dunwoody Restaurant Group, between Residence Inn and Spruill House on Ashford Dunwoody
  • Lazy Dog Restaurant: Schedule for a 2020 opening in Perimeter Mall following the upcoming Peachtree Corners
  • The Park at Georgetown Food Hall: The first of its kind in Dunwoody, the forthcoming concept at Dunwoody Green was announced in May but no further details have been
  • Twelve24 Hammond: New office, retail, restaurant space – and the Hyatt Place hotel – near Perimeter Mall and the MARTA station is on the rise, which will also be the new headquarters for Insight
  • Perimeter Market Place: The project was recently announced, which will include a grocery store, restaurants, RaceTrac and a
  • 48 Perimeter Center East – School: Looking at a 2020 opening, the school will be set on three acres and 20,000 square feet of

 

“There are so many positive advancements happening in the Perimeter Dunwoody Market, and we want people to know that. Additional announcements are anticipated throughout the remainder of the year and locals can expect to see progress on multiple projects into 2020.
