Note from Audra: If you take the time to read The Dunwoody Crier article below you’ll get most of the scoop. Not only is my DHS Junior a Varsity baseball player, but I’m the Diamond Club Secretary. One of my roles is to keep our players and parents apprised of changes to the schedule. We’ve cancelled, postponed or moved 27 games (that doesn’t include practices) as of this morning and have yet to play a home game on our pond (AKA baseball field). Our coach and a few volunteers are busy trying to find alternate locations or asking our opponents to host us instead. Our board and coaches are working with the county to implement a solution. I wish the county would move faster because our seniors are likely to never play a home game in their final season.
