I recently had the opportunity to visit the Heat Lounge to receive a blowout. I’ve heard of the Heat Lounge before as several friends have been there. I love the feel of a fresh salon blowout but after going through chemo and waiting for my hair to grow in the past two years, it hasn’t been something I’ve thought about doing. As you will see from the before photo, my hair desperately needed SOMETHING! When we were offered the opportunity to come check out the Heat Lounge, I jumped at the chance!
The salon is just off Peachtree Dunwoody Road (across from Costco) and has plenty of parking right in front. Very clean and comfortable inside, the salon offers much more than blowouts. As a full service salon, they do cuts, styles, blowouts, makeup and more. I was offered a choice of a drink and enjoyed a lovely wash with scalp massage. Afterwards, my hair was blown out section by section leaving a smooth and bouncy head of hair perfect for a date night out (to the always spectacular Little Alley Steakhouse) with my husband.
