Attached is the Program listing participants for the Oct. 13 and 16 Candidate Forum/Debate.
Dick Williams from the Crier Newspaper and Peter Cox from Dunwoody Patch will serve as moderators for both events.
To review General Rules :
1. No campaign literature and no campaign signs at the debate or on either school property
2. No surrogates may stand in for a candidate
3. Any of the three ‘sessions’ may be held for a reasonable amount of time if one candidate is late. If a candidate is late for session one or session two then the order of the sessions may be changed.
4. If a candidate from any session cancels their appearance then that session may be canceled. Having an ‘open chair’ debate could be seen as an endorsement, even though all candidates have confirmed attendance at this event.
5. The debate moderators have broad discretion to ask follow-up questions after a candidate’s answer, so the public can be fully informed about specific positions.
