Now, in its eighth year, the Dunwoody Fine Art Association will partner with local businesses and agencies for the Dunwoody Fine Art Month (DFAM) during the month of October. Two and three-dimensional original work from over 30 artist members will be displayed at 30 venues throughout the Dunwoody area. The artwork is original and is for sale. Proceeds from any sale will benefit selected organizations that promote art within the community.
New for this year is DFAA’s partnership with the Dunwoody Preservation Trust, which manages the Donaldson-Bannister Farm at the corner of Chamblee-Dunwoody and Vermack Roads. It is part of the Dunwoody Woman’s Club 46th Annual Home Tour on Wednesday, October 3, from 9:30 to 3:00 and will feature 10 to 15 artworks by DFAA members. The artwork will be on display throughout the month during the Farm’s Apple Cider Days programs.
The public is cordially invited to a reception held at the offices of Berkshire Hathaway centrally located at 5481 Chamblee Dunwoody Road next to Fresh Market on Friday, October 5th from 5:30-7:00 with refreshments provided by Novo Cocina and wine. DeAnn Golden, Senior VP/Managing Broker and her associates are excited about supporting art within the community and will display 10-12 pieces along with additional art brought in for the reception event.
