Shoppers looking for a little extra flair in their market trip are invited to a special cooking demonstration by City Winery’s Executive Chef Nick Anderson on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the farmers market known as The SHED in Ponce City Market. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Chef Nick will be whipping up a favorite from this month’s Tomato & Vine special — Tomato Carpaccio served with pecorino, shallot vinaigrette, basil and toasted crumbs. After the demonstration, imbibers that are 21 and up are also invited back to City Winery with Chef Nick to learn the tricks of the trade and sip a glass of City Winery’s signature wine.
