Audra’s Review of Chick-fil-A Mealtime Kits

By Audra Anders for The Aha! Connection

Christine Cooper from the Perimeter Pointe Chick-fil-A surprised me last week by showing up at my front door with two “mealtime kits” to try!   I worked at CFA in high school and college and I still LOVE CFA and couldn’t wait to see what these kits are all about.

First I made the Chicken Flatbread.   The good news is that I love to cook when given a recipe and all the ingredients…it was easy to follow the directions, fun to make, and my hubby and 20 year old really enjoyed it.  The bad news is that I couldn’t personally eat it due to my stupid food allergies but it smelled great.

A couple of days later I made the Pan Roasted Chicken.  Again…it was easy to follow directions, fun to make, and this time I can personally attest that it was absolutely delicious and gluten free!

Here’s how they plan to roll out the program….there will be a total of 5 Mealtime Kits being tested in the Atlanta area from August 27 until November 17.  After that time, Chick-fil-A will assess the program and decide it’s future.  The 5 kits will be rolled out beginning with Chicken Enchiladas and Chicken Parmesan.  September 24 – October 20 will be Pan Roasted Chicken and Chicken Flatbread and finally Crispy Dijon Chicken and the best-selling kit from the first offering will be available from October 22 – November 17.  The price will be $15.89 plus tax and all you will do is show up at Chick-fil-A and pick one up!  No subscription, no advance ordering, no minimum quantity to purchase!
