Red Sox select Dunwoody’s Grant Williams with their 10th-round pick!

With their 10th-round pick (310th overall) the Red Sox selected Grant Williams, a second baseman out of Kennesaw State University (Ga.). The 5-foot-10 senior was a Cape Cod League All-Star in 2017 after he hit .326/.410/.378 over 135 at-bats with the Bourne Braves. He was not ranked in Baseball America’s top 500 prospect list, but he was listed as the 34th-best draft prospect in the state of Georgia. Read more here.
