As a confirmed nature lover, I’m concerned about spraying for mosquitoes. I don’t like them either but prefer to use spray on myself instead of every plant in my yard. Over the past few years I’ve noticed a big decline in the number of bees & butterflies visiting my yard. If pest control people would be more selective in where they spray, this might be prevented. IE: Don’t spray any flowering plant that pollinators might use. We are already suffering from a bee decline crisis in our country where heavy widespread spraying is done. Most urban & suburban dwellers don’ t think about the crops which feed us must have pollinators in order to produce our food. So please ask your pest control people to avoid flowering plants in your landscape! And use a personal approved insect spray on your exposed body parts when you’re outside. The bees & butterflies will appreciate it!
