Plans are well underway for the Spring Stampede 5K Run/Walk and Tot Trot hosted by Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. The race will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 7:30am at Oglethorpe University. Race chairperson Kristen Hall is seeking volunteers and community sponsors. Runners can register for the race online at active.com.
The net proceeds will go to OLA’s community outreach programs. These programs involve assisting local nursing homes and shut-ins, as well as meeting counseling and educational needs in the Brookhaven community.
