The Brookhaven Bike Alliance presents the 21st annual Thankful Ride, which happens again this year on—guess what?—Thanksgiving Day morning! What better time to gather with fellow bike riders, enjoy quiet residential roads of Brookhaven and Chamblee, and work up an appetite for that holiday feast? The ride is 12 miles (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28903791) or 26 miles (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28903833), and leaves at 9 a.m. from Savi Market, 1388 Dresden Drive, in Brookhaven Village.
The Thankful Ride is for all types and ages of bikes and bike riders, and the route is painted on the road so you can ride at your own pace.
Come join us, and bring family and friends! Note that you can take your bike on MARTA as a convenient way to get to the ride start.
ALSO NOTE Savi Market is 1/4 mi. away from the MARTA station with on-street parking nearby. Savi is a specialty market that offers coffee and pastries (among other goodies) for pre-ride fueling, and wine and other last-minute provisions for your Thanksgiving dinner. If you drive to the ride start, PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN SAVI’S PARKING LOT! You may park next-door at the dry cleaners, or you can find plentiful on-street options.
